The Way of Kings Read Along: The Schedule

Stout as a bookstand.

Stout as a bookstand.

Folks, this is big! Anya from On Starships & Dragonwings) and I hatched this plan to do a read along of Brandon Sanderson‘s The Way of Kings, Book 1 in The Stormlight Archive series. We thought we go small at first, her and me tag teaming the hosting duties. But then we emailed around to see if folks would like to join us, and they came out of the wood work! We are so happy to be joined by another 8 bloggers for this 10-week event.

And then Anya chatted with Tor, the publisher of The Way of Kings and Sanderson’s forthcoming sequel, Words of Radiance. Tor has generously offered to sponsor a giveaway of several copies of both The Way of Kings and Words of Radiance! Details are forthcoming, so stayed tune for that.

So, are you a Sanderson fan? Or perhaps you haven’t gotten around to reading Sanderson yet. Now is the perfect opportunity. Join us! If you’d like to get the discussion questions a few days before each post date, leave me a comment or send me an email – nrlymrtl [at] gmail [dot] com.

And to add a little sweetness to it, the awesome giveaway will give extra entries to those joining the read along (though you don’t have to take part in the read along to enter the giveaway).

With that, the schedule:
